Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the Journalisa software, provided by Huvermann Solutions GmbH, Ährenweg 22, 32469 Petershagen, Germany (“Provider”).
1. Subject Matter and Scope
Journalisa is Windows desktop software for documenting and analyzing stock market trades (trading journal). These terms govern the use of the software by the licensee. By downloading, installing, or using the software, the user accepts these terms.
2. Grant of License
The Provider grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Journalisa on one (1) device for personal or professional purposes. The license does not permit:
- Redistribution, rental, or sublicensing of the software
- Decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise analyzing the source code
- Creating derivative works
- Use on more than one device per license
3. Licensing Model
Journalisa is offered as an annual license (39.00 € / year plus VAT) or as a lifetime license (59.00 € one-time plus VAT). The annual license does not renew automatically. A 30-day free trial is available without payment obligation.
4. Updates and Support
With an active annual license, the user receives all updates and bug fixes released during the license year. The lifetime license includes updates for the current major version (e.g. version 1.x). The Provider assumes no obligation to provide specific features or continue development indefinitely.
5. Termination
An annual license ends automatically at the end of the paid period. There is no automatic renewal. The Provider may terminate the license with immediate effect if the user breaches these terms. If terminated by the Provider for good cause, a proportional refund may be reviewed.
6. Disclaimer of Liability
Journalisa is a trading journal — not a financial advisory tool. The software does not provide investment recommendations and does not replace professional financial advice. The Provider is not liable for trading losses arising from the use of the software.
Liability for slight negligence is excluded unless it concerns the breach of essential contractual obligations, damage to life, body, or health, or claims under product liability law.
7. Data Protection
Journalisa stores all trading data exclusively on the user’s local device. No trading data is transmitted to the Provider’s servers or to third parties. For information about the processing of personal data in connection with the website and purchase process, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply exclusively, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of jurisdiction, where legally permissible, is Petershagen, Germany. For consumers within the EU, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country of residence also apply.
9. Changes to These Terms
The Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use with reasonable prior notice (at least 30 days). Continued use of the software after the amended terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
